What are your thoughts on the El Sistema music program in Venezuela? How do you think this music program helps young students deal with living in cities, such as Caracas, where there is horrific poverty and crime? What social and educational values do you see these children developing through learning music? In your opinion, how important is providing an Arts education for any student in the world?

Discussion Board/ Blog:
Our World History class blog brings students together in an online discussion forum. Weekly topics will be posted for students to discuss. Students will receive an additional five points each week for quality responses to our blog topics.
